The Britannia Public House Conversion

Conversion of a formal public house into four flats which consisted of a large new build extension in the rear garden.

The Britannia Public House Conversion

This development was tightly constrained site with road frontage on free sides and neighbouring property on the other result in a very logistically demanding project. To build out the site there were many abnormal issues to overcome the construction process, this included party wall notice, controlled demolition, underpinning obstructions within the ground, archaeological brief, retaining walls, tanking, working with a conversion area are just a few.

However with the highly experiencing knowledgeable team that BBL have their disposal we still managed to deliver this very exclusive project with budget and on time whilst maintaining a high standard of quality finish. Our company client appreciate the efforts during the difficult time and was delighted with the end result and the project is a good example of how through planning how through the planning process and build can be enhanced and its lifetime longevity secure to support the regeneration part of Rochester High Street.
