Our BBL team have completed their annual update training in Asbestos Awareness.
With a large number of our projects being work on existing properties for refurbishment, renewal and reinstatement, being aware of the risk of asbestos containing products and how to deal with ACM in these buildings is crucial in safeguarding the health of our team, subcontractors and clients.
According to figures from the HSE, around 5000 people a year die from conditions caused by work-based asbestos exposure.
With this in mind, BBL ensure that all our staff hold up to date training relevant to their roles, so we can spot any areas of concern as early as possible in a project and call in specialists to assess, advise and remove as necessary, keeping everyone safe.
This training is provided to the entire team—from our Managing Director to our Site Foreman and even office staff, including our Digital Marketing Executive, to name a few.
